![]() ![]() #Keeper vs dashlane password#Over the past couple of years, Dashlane has launched plans and cancelled them soon after (i.e., Premium Plus), added and removed features (i.e., the CreditView Dashboard) and been called out for flaws in its “zero-knowledge model” that could allow unauthorized access to customers´ data.īearing all the above in mind, it is no surprise Dashlane customers are looking to for alternatives to their existing password manager. If the changes and price increases were one-off events after ten years of providing an excellent service, you might excuse Dashlane a bump in the road – but they are not. Similarly, the family plan has increased from $59.99 per year to $89.99 per year – or $107.88 if you pay monthly. It is now $59.99 per year or $77.88 if you choose to pay monthly. When we compiled our Dashlane review in December 2021, the price of a premium plan was $39.99 per year. To add injury to insult, Dashlane subsequently raised the prices of its premium and family plans. #Keeper vs dashlane windows#The failure to support Windows Hello, biometric logins, and automatic log out also raised security and compliance concerns. Not only was it unreliable, but features that were available on the desktop app (such as emergency access, support for U2F keys, and the much-hyped VPN service) were not included in the web app. However, the web-first app was far from ready when it was launched. Dashlane promised the changes would result in a more streamlined and secure user experience and would enable the company to accelerate the speed at which it rolled out new features. #Keeper vs dashlane mac#In November 2020, Dashlane announced it was discontinuing support for its Windows and Mac desktop apps to focus on a “web-first experience”. ![]() However, is Keeper the best alternative to Dashlane, or do other password managers offer a better experience and value for money? Hopefully, I can get a little feedback from some of you without too much bullshittery and kerfluffle. Our Dashlane versus Keeper comparison is aimed at customers of Dashlane who are dissatisfied with the recent “web-first” changes to the password manager and price increases. Gotta work with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Might move it to 10 or 20 users eventually, but for now it's just me looking at 5 main problem users with the ability for one admin to "rescue" them when they somehow forget their ONE password (you know how it works for these people). ![]() I have a group of 5 C levels that I want to get into one managed password keeper so 4 of them can stop using the same damned password (each) everywhere in the wild, and two of them can stop putting all their passwords in their iPhone contacts (grumble). ![]() Have been looking at 1password but recently there has been a flurry of bad reviews, are they warranted? What is the best choice today according to anyone that's made a move from what they were using, to what they ARE using (and prefer it). "look at one of the other 50 threads asking the same thing."īut the thing is, every so many months one or more of these bastards changes hands between either money companies, or another tech company gobbles them up and proceeds to bugger things up for everyone. ![]()

![]() ![]() #Analog efex pro velvia skin#There are many filters available that emulate film stocks. The two I use are Alien Skin Exposure, which has a fantastic library to choose from with the ability to adapt them, and Niksoft Colour Efex Pro, for colour, or Silver Efex, for black and white. Velvia was an ISO50 film though many photographers would shoot it at ISO 40 or 35 to over expose the film by one or two thrids of a stop. Velvia is a daylight balanced colour reversal film that was introduced in 1990 and was direct competition to Kodachrome 25. In honor of Film Photography Day I am going to edit two images emulating one of my favorite films for shooting landscapes, Fuji Velvia. Each action requires one or more “heartbeats” and as you play the game your meter will fill up and reflect what you have done and how many heartbeats each action took. As you make decisions in the game, the meters will track each of those decision – whether that decision is to move in a certain direction, attack an enemy, walk into fire, get attacked, etc. ![]() Kipuna, the primary character, and your traveling companion each have what is reminiscent of a music or video editing interface meter along the bottom of the screen. The final game we saw was Iron Danger – an RPG that features an innovative timeline mechanic which allows you to – at any time and as often as you want – reverse time in order to change your plan of attack. Together, with the option to play this cooperatively with friends, it’s no wonder that there’s such a strong modding community supporting this game. You can design your own submarine, characters, or even your own monsters if you want. The game also features an in-game editor which can be used to make, well, anything you want. If you do, you’ll have to scramble to fend them off and repair the leaks that appear in your vessel, which at a glance, looks incredibly complex with switching between different characters in order to mend parts of your hull, or go to one of the turrets to fend off the creatures in between looking at the various maps and data that the game makes available to you. Sharing similarities with FTL: Faster Than Light, Barotrauma puts you in charge of your own submarine as you explore the frozen oceans of Jupiter’s moon, Europa.Īs you progress and collect resources, you have to be careful not to disturb the life living in the oceans of Europa. Iratus: Lord of the Dead is set to release soon, so make sure to keep an eye out for it! Your monsters can be leveled up as well over time, by using the items you collect from your enemies (such as bones, or even brains). Iratus himself also has abilities that can be used in battle, and as you progress through the game, you’ll be able to unlock additional talents in a skill tree. When making your teams though, it’s important to consider the abilities of the units and what will be better against each opponent. You can divide up your minions into four groups to quickly select when going into battle. I had a chance to play a few rounds and while I haven’t played something like Darkest Dungeon to be able to make the comparison, I did find myself enjoying the strategy that goes into each fight. Instead of playing the heroes and making your way through various dungeons, you play as I ratus: Lord of the Dead as you fight against what would, in any other game, be the good guys. The first title we previewed was Iratus: Lord of the Dead- a game that takes an idea from something like Darkest Dungeon and then flips it. ![]() |
